New Year Resolution (aka I’m Still Fat)

I know I haven’t written a post in a while. Oh well. I got discouraged, poo. It happens. But let’s pretend that all that never happened and start fresh from today. 🙂

I am about to embark on the last diet I’ll ever do (at least before kids). How do I know? Because I’m planning it a month in advance. I’m setting up for all pitfalls and setbacks, something I normally never do. The last diet I tried was this summer. It was a botched attempt at Raw-Til-Four, when after seeing no real progress, I learned via many Youtubers that I might not see any progress for nearly two years! Well, screw that. I’m not doing that. I want to look sexy NOW. I admitted to myself the other day that no matter how many trips I take or friends I have or money I make, I just won’t be totally happy until I’m satisfied with my body. That doesn’t mean that I don’t love my body or myself. I do. I’m just disappointed with it. Like having a child that’s acting out and making bad decisions. You still love the child, but you would be happier if they weren’t making poor decisions (like fast food five days a week).

So, what have I come up with so far? Well, January 2016 I will be on a 90% plant-based diet. I will be eating four meals a day between the hours of 9 am – 5 pm. No calorie slashing.

What are the rules?

{ 3 Days Prior }

○ Liquid fast (smoothies, gatorade, water)

{ Month-long }

â—‹ No meat
â—‹ No dairy
â—‹ 1 special occasion/ just because

{ Daily }

â—‹ 1 raw salad
â—‹ 90% plant based
○ 10% fat (plant based  oil)
â—‹ 1 processed food bar

{ Weekly }

â—‹ Fried meal
â—‹ Bought meal

{ Excercise }

â—‹ 4+ Days Cardio

○ 3 Days Weightlifting
